Welcome to the Breakfast Optimist Club of Loveland Colorado 1965 - 2015 50 Years of helping children in Loveland
Our Story... The Breakfast Optimist Club of Loveland is a community service organization dedicated to Bringing out the best in children, our communities, and ourselves. We have been working with kids in Loveland, Colorado since 1965. Optimist clubs are members of a worldwide service organization dedicated to serving the youth in their communities. The purpose of the Optimist Club of Windsor is to develop “Optimism” as a philosophy of life and to aid and encourage the youth of our community. We are a group of people who care about kids. Our members include people from every aspect of our community: business, civil service, social, educational, cultural, retirees and even young people. The club is open to all adults. Are you in good standing in the community, have integrity and a heart for serving kids? Come join us! We’d love to meet you as our guest at our weekly meetings.
The optimist creed Promise Yourself... To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
